How to Make Delicious Chocolate Strawberry Protein Powder Pancakes

It will only take a few minutes to have your chocolate pancake mix ready. The secret to this recipe is to cook the pancakes on low heat. This will help the pancakes from getting burnt or drying out. So make sure you cook them on low heat.

Here are the simple instructions for this recipe:

  1. Take out a large bowl and add the following ingredients: eggs, stevia, almond milk, apple sauce, oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and chocolate protein powder.
  2. Mix all of the ingredients with a whisk or a folk.
  3. Take out a stovetop pan and set your temperature to medium-low. Spray your stovetop pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
  4. This chocolate protein mix should make around 10 medium size pancakes. Poor you mix into the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side at a low temperature.
  5. Once you make your 10 chocolate protein powder pancakes, take out your meal prep containers and ad 2 pancakes to each container and store in the refrigerator for the week.

Best Chocolate Protein Powder For Baking

This recipe is packed with protein because of the 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder and the two eggs. You can use whatever chocolate protein powder brand that you like. But my two favorite chocolate protein powder brands for baking are bodybuilding.com signature brand and Dymatize brand. Both of these brands make the best protein powder flavors.

You can also make this a vegan option, if you use a vegan protein powder instead of the whey protein powder.

Ingredient Substitution

There are a few different ways to make this recipe your own, you can use vanilla or oatmeal protein powder if you don’t have chocolate protein powder. The cocoa powder will give it the chocolate flavor if you are not using chocolate protein powder.

Low-carb option: You can use almond flour or coconut flour instead of oat flour if you are looking for a keto, low-carb option. If you do decide to use almond flour the total fat in this recipe will be a little higher. You can also add chocolate chips or dried cranberries to the pancake mix.

This recipe calls for almond milk but you can also replace it with whatever type of milk you would like. For example, soy, coconut, and or cows milk for extra thickness.
